Orosháza

With the signing of the syndicate contract between DunaTec GmbH and Agro-M Rt. on the 13th of April 2005, DunaTec-Orosháza Bioenergetikai Ltd. was founded with the goal of building a biogas plant in Orosháza with 1,4 MW electric performance.

Orosháza and its surrounding region provides adequate input materials (swine- and neat manure, slaughter-house-, food- and beer production waste) for the operation of biogas plants. The utilization of biomass-based energy has significant environmental advantages; its production creates workplaces, helps agriculture and reduces dependence on energy import.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Production of biogas

 

The fertilizer from the stables flows with the help of the pumps into the pumped storage power station which is at the operation. There still wastes can be added option-wise which need no pretreatment, as for example oils from bakeries or cooling systems. A mixer and a pump form the component of the agitator. The fertilizer gets from the warehouse reservoir in the fermentation arrangement. The wastes from the slaughterhouses come with LKW´s to a separate building. The wastes are stored in one with mixer and pump fitted out reservoir. The pump is fitted with a crusher. The wastes get first from the reservoir in the cleaning reservoir, then in the warehouse reservoir which is contained with fertilizer. Finally, then they get in the fermentation arrangement. The fermentation arrangement contains 2 mechanical mixers; their roof structure is manufactured from iron concrete. The materials get from the fermentation arrangement in two additional warehouse reservoirs. The developed gas gets first by the security unity and by the gas warehouse reservoirs into two gas engines of 700 kW. The reservoir for the storage of gas is between the fermentation arrangement and the auxiliary generators. His task is the storage of gas for the duration in which the auxiliary generator does not use so much gas how it is produced, or if the production of electricity is profitable less. The additional warehouse reservoirs are fitted out with mixer. They store the fertilizer up to 6 months. Afterwards it is emptied in tank wagon equipped with Injector and is brought on the fields.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The goal of DunaTec is to successfully operate a plant which reaches the following goals:

  • Production and sales of electric power
  • Production of thermal energy with hot water sales
  • Handling of slaughterhouse waste
  • Handling and usage of food-production waste
  • Carbon-dioxide trade

DunaTec GmbH, the owner of the DunaTec-Orosháza Ltd. also participates in the operation using its experience and contacts gained abroad.

To the operation of the arrangements we want to occupy altogether a staff existing from 3 persons. Such a staff will be capable for the execution of the tasks necessary to the operation. Our enterprise will undertake significant activities in seeking partner-suppliers in order to reach our goals. Orosháza is having the Joining Plan, Building Permit and Environmental protection permit documentation. The prepared business plans, the financial evaluation and the prognosis show that the enterprise will be profitable in 7 years and the invested capital will return as well.

Somogyszob

 

In the location of Claessens Általános MezĹ‘gazdasági Ltd. in Somogyszob one is busy presently in important masses with the breeding of cows, piglet, calves and pigs.

These animals produce a significant quantity of manure which is suitable for biogas production.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The developed fluid fertilizer gets by pumps in the reservoirs for storage of the fertilizer; from out there it gets as a nutrient source on the fields. This is an untreated fluid fertilizer which has a very intense smell effect. The plants can´t take the necessary nutrients in time. Because it`s not available in suitable form. In the unfavorable case, the nitrates can thereby get in the ground-water.

 

The organic materials disintegrate in the fermentation arrangement in carbohydrates, Lipide and protein.

 

The dismantling procedure consists of three main steps:

  1. Hydrolyse – The big macro molecules are diminished by bacteria in anaerobic conditions in sugar, fatty acids and amino acids
  2. Decomposition by acids - the azetogen bacteria modify the products of the hydrolysis on acids with short cabbage chains, first of all, on acetic acid
  3. Methanogenesis - the acids are converted into methane

The goal of DunaTec is to successfully operate a plant which reaches the following goals:

  • Production and sales of electric power
  • Production of thermal energy with hot water sales
  • Handling of slaughterhouse waste
  • Handling and usage of food-production waste
  • Carbon-dioxide trade  

The biogas plant functions with maize-silage. In future the Silage is replaced with other materials of big energy salary which are cheaper or, possibly, income from their decline appears. So the plant would have achieved in the first months, with use of maize-silage, the complete gas yield. But later it would be replaced – gradually – with organic wastes. The smell effect of the developed bio-manure becomes less intense. By application it doesn´t spread on a so big surface, a lower smell load appears for the local residents. The biogas plant creates workplaces what is particularly demanded in this part of Hungary.

 

Both owners of the enterprises also participate in the manipulation, with use of the conditions, experiences relations of DunaTec GmbH.
